A branch from the popular Owncloud, Nextcloud is 100% Open source and community focused and allows you to store your documents, calendar, contacts and photos on a server in your own company, at home or in a data centre of your choosing.

The functionality is similar to Dropbox but has added functionality that includes groupware apps like Calendar, contacts and mail, communication apps like Nextcloud Talk for private conversations, collaboration apps for document editing and security and authentication features like two-factor authentication, SSO(Single Sign on) and ransomware protection.
